Abstract
The article exposes Krause’s proposal of a Federation of European Countries on the occasion of the Vienna-Congress (1814). This project has very valuable elements, still nowadays, in order to think a European Union and to lay the foundations for an international right of the nations. This writing is consequence of a concrete conception of right, which I introduce in this article in its evolution and in its important metaphysical roots. This metaphysical basis refers to a fundamental component concerning the relation between beings with each other and with the absolute principle of all reality. The article outlines from this horizon Krause’s Europeanism and Cosmopolitanism as one of the essential identifying features of Krausism.
