Abstract

After the compulsory virtualization of the university academic work during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary to understand the nature of the involved changes, both regarding the way and quality of the teaching and research services, the relationships with the students and the communities in which the academia is situated, and the conditions, requirements and ways of controlling the work itself. The virtualization modulates and, probably, increases a way of exploitation consisting in the bureaucratization of the teaching and research activities.
