The overcoming of metaphysics by quantum physics: the philosophical proposal of Domingo Carvallo (1897-1980)

Abstract
In this article we try to summarize and briefly analyze the figure and work of the philosopher Domingo Carvallo González (1897-1980), who was a disciple of Ortega in Madrid and of Husserl, Heidegger and Heisenberg in Germany. Regardless of the assessment that can be made about the scope and relevance of his thought, we consider that his works such as The ontic structure (1961), The ontic voice (1965), ... And on the overcoming of metaphysics (1966) and Quantum Physics. Religión (1976) deserve to be rescued from oblivion and occupy the peculiar place that corresponds to them in the history of 20th century Spanish philosophy as an attempt to combine the Heideggerian philosophy of Being with the new vision of the nature that emerges from quantum physics.
