Cambio social y consumo de animales: Los vertebrados de la zanja 7 dentro de una aproximación diacrónica a los restos faunísticos del recinto de Perdigões (3400-2000 BC)

Resumen

Se presentan los resultados del estudio del conjunto faunístico del foso 7 del recinto de Perdigões (Reguengos de Monsaraz, Portugal). Con un total de 3380 restos este contexto esta datado en distintas fases del Calcolítico a la transición al Bronce inicial. Los resultados demues- tran la relevancia de suidos, caprinos, cérvidos, bovinos y équidos y sus oscilaciones diacrónicas. Se registraron indicadores de procesado y consumo como marcas de corte, fracturación antropo- génica, termo-alteraciones y marcas de dientes, los últimos sobre todo por carnívoros.

El espectro fue comparado en el ámbito de la cronología de Perdigões, desde el final del Neolítico Medio a la transición para el Bronce inicial (3400-2000 BC), representando la primera aproximación al comportamiento diacrónico de consumo de vertebrados en el sitio. Las especies domesticadas son mayoritarias, pero se evidencian algunos cambios en la proporción de domesti- cados/salvajes. Se aprecia una importante contribución de salvajes, sobre todo ciervo, al final del Neolítico medio y en la transición a la Edad del Bronce. Sin embargo, durante el Neolítico final y Calcolítico existe un crecimiento del componente de domesticados.
