Arte e industria en el Madrid del siglo XVIII

Abstract

This work tries to determine the existing relations between art and industry in 18th Century Madrid. To the sometimes contradictory analysis of the "workshop" and "manufacture" concepts, follows the enumeration of the principal factories, workshops and decorative art schools that were established in the Court throughout the 18th Century. Also recorded were their urban location, the foundation year, and the names of their respective artistic directors.
