Abstract
The Monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza (Burgos), well known by medievalists, has also an important modern work, usually unprepared for Art Historians. With this article we are trying to claim over some of its architectural aspects. In this way, we adduce documents that can establish credit and chronology of this work, in the Northeastern side of the Monastery, in the person of Pedro Díaz de Palacios, and we document other disposing works made by artificers from Trasmiera (Cantabria), Spanish location where many stone-masters were born during the Modern Age.
