Aportaciones a la obra de Luis Tristán

Abstract

Luis de Tristán, a painter who stands out among the artists in the evolution of the Castilian painting in the early seventeenth century, is nowadays subject of renewed attention. The aim of this paper is to reveal the finding of our unknown paintings by this Toledan artist. The pictures have been found in Santa Olalla, Talavera de la Reina y Toledo, and although there is no provided document, they must be included into the catalogue of Tristan's works.
