Abstract
This article deals with the actual situation of the garden and palace in Abadía (Cáceres), the Grand Duke of Alba's most important enterprise and an exceptional example within the history of Spanish Renaissance gardening. New graphic documents are included related to Francesco Camiliani's fountains in this garden, praised by the highest poets from the Spanish "Siglo de Oro".
