Abstract
Many Spanish painters were initiated in the way of the "Avantgarde" while Europe lived the phenomenon of "le retour àl'ordre". This shock produced interesting results among the scholarship-holders in the Spanish Fine Arts Academy of Rome. The present work, based on a documental research in Rome, shows their art activity during the scholarship period between 1927 y 1936.
