Estudio tipológico aplicado a los profesionales de la restauración monumental en el siglo XIX

Abstract

In this article it is proposed a typological study of the very first worker responsable of the Monumental Restoration in Spain, focused on its professional profile and on the critical analysis of its interventions. As a sample of this we have taken into account certain varieties of rehabilitation works realised in historical buildings of the city of Alcalá de Henares, between the end of the XVIIIth Century and the begining of the XXths Century. To argue this, it is provide a wide graphical and documentary support that shows the meaning these interventions adquired.
