Abstract

The Cathedral of Cádiz is the last Baroque Cathedral in Spain and its history and fame has suffered the savage attack of academical criticism from the end of the Eighteenth Century. In this paper, this building is studied through the edition of its architect's (Vicente de Acero y Acebo) texts supporting its project, and his critics's pamphlets.
