Abstract
In this article we wonder about the physical absence of a dynastical mausoleum in the Umayyad Cordoba. We analyze the news which refers to the monarchs' burials, on the different sources, and this leads us to set out the Cordoba's singularity on this way, in a great extent determined by the Malikies' religious practices.
