Abstract
This paper traces a biographical profile of don Luis de Guzmán y Soto, chief accountant of the Duke of Medinaceli, and analyzes its art collection. Thereon we can document two new works by Pedro de Mena: the sculptures of Jesus and St Peter forming a curious set of The Washing of the feet, now preserved in the chapel of Dios Padre of Lucena (Córdoba).
