Nuevos datos acerca de la ampliación de al-Hakam II en la mezquita de Córdoba y algunas hipótesis sobre la zona de la maqsura de época emiral

Abstract

Four years ago we published a work where, on the basis ofthe information in the written sources, we addressed thevarious construction phases and the pace of expansion ofthe Mosque of Cordova by al-Hakam II. In the presentpaper we focus in this same expansion stage, providingnew data that complement the vision of the mosque in thereign of the second Umayyad caliph. We will as well tryto set out some hypotheses about the mi5ráb and themaq1úra of Emirate time, aspects which, from our pointof view, should have played an important role in desig-ning the layout of the Caliphate expansion.
