The entry of AI into the query of the false. An approach to generative art and the status of fiction

Abstract
The current systems of artificial intelligence (AI) are catalysing the process of transformation of the regimes of truth that diffusely regulate the sincerity and veracity of public statements. The crisis in the standardised formats of credibility has been accompanied by an influential narrative of mathematical governance, in a permanent scenario of uncertainty and volatility. In the field of artistic production, this process is being redirected in search of new possibilities of reflection or activation of the old problems of the false, the apparent and the likely. At the same time, advances in generative computing question the traditional status of the idea of fiction itself and its aesthetic condition. Here we will see some effects of the adoption of AI in the exploration of truth regimes and their instruments of validation.
