Abstract
This essay aims to point out the differences between the theory of world’s model, as it is developed in my book Crítica y sabotaje (2011), and the theory of possible worlds carried out between the 70s and 90s by Petöfi, Dolezel or Albaladejo. Our main point is the following one: while theory of possible worlds pays attention to what is outside of the text, in a different “possible” world, the theory of world’s model keeps the text’s reference centered in the world. Along these pages we show how the theory of possible worlds depends on aesthetic ideology, while the theory of world’s model arises from a critical position toward that ideology.
