Gramsci: Poder, cultura y educación

Resumen

Este artículo traza la conexión entre el trabajo cultural y el poder en el pensamiento y la escritura del teórico y estratega sociopolítico italiano, Antonio Gramsci. Se enfatiza su arraigo en el marxismo y una cultura humanista profunda, así como sus principales herramientas conceptuales (por ejemplo, Hegemonía, Intelectuales, "Espíritu Creativo Popular", Apropiación Crítica y "Nacional-Popular") son fundamentales para sus análisis de diferentes formas de cultura, producción, actividad intelectual y desarrollos educativos en su época. El documento hace hincapié en sus reflexiones sobre el tema tan pertinente de Migración, ya que encontró expresión en la literatura de su tiempo y su implicación para la reflexión sobre el mismo tema en tiempos más recientes. Se le da importancia al papel de los movimientos políticos y artísticos de la época, como el Futurismo y su legado para la vida actual. Se establece un paralelismo entre los puntos de vista culturales de Gramsci y de pensadores posteriores como Raymond Williams, Stuart Hall y Henry A. Giroux, quienes a menudo adoptan una lente gramsciana en su análisis económico-social-cultural. El tema central de este artículo es la influencia de la cultura y los trabajadores / intelectuales culturales en el proceso de transformación social.
