Abstract

A working protocol in which LiDAR data and archaeological survey are combined has been created pursuing the aim of identifying defensive systems present in fortified settlements of the western Iberian Peninsula.

In this paper we present the results obtained in the study of the site of Castro del Freíllo. These results have allowed us to propose the layout of the enclave’s defenses and how some specific elements were articulated with it.
