En esa línea, la normativa actual en España establece la obligatoriedad de la evaluación de las actividades docentes, investigadoras y de gestión de los profesores, estableciendo diferentes tipos de evaluación en función de los temas y repercusiones y distribuyendo las responsabilidades entre el Estado, las Comunidades Autónomas y las propias universidades. De esta forma, el sistema de evaluación español está conformado por una serie de subsistemas, vagamente interrela­cionados entre sí, y con una normativa muy cambiante en los últimos años. En este breve documento se intenta ofrecer una panorámica general descriptiva, con algunos elementos críticos, al actual sistema, distinguiendo la evaluación para el acceso a la función docente y su promoción, la relacionada con la actividad investigadora, con el desempeño docente y la evaluación para incentivos salariales.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Palabras clave:</strong> Evaluación del profesorado, España, universidad, educación superior.</p><p align="justify"> </p><p align="justify">Quality as well as excellence of university teaching staff is one of the principles that guide the Higher Education European Space (Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior). Thus current Spanish norms deem evaluations of teaching, investigation and management activities by professors obligatory, different types of evaluations in function to themes and repercussions are laid out and give responsibility to the State, Autonomous communities and universities. This way, the Spanish evaluating system is made up by a series of subsystems, vaguely related with each other and with ever-changing regulations. This brief document offers a descriptive picture, with a few critical elements of the actual system; setting apart the evaluation of the teaching function and its promotion, the investigation related activities, teaching performance and the salary incentive evaluation.</p><p align="justify"><strong>Keywords:</strong> Teaching evaluation, Spain, University, Higher Education.</p> ER -
