Oportunidades y retos: estudiantes de doctorado europeos investigando sobre aspectos relacionados con la educación para la ciudadanía

Resumen
Este artículo aborda cuestiones relacionadas con el trabajo desarrollado en el seno de la Red Temática Europea Sócrates Children’s Identity and Citizenship in Europe (CiCe) con estudiantes de doctorado1. Como parte del trabajo a pequeña escala se investigó sobre las oportunidades y retos de un pequeño grupo de estudiantes de doctorado cuyos intereses estaban centrados en temas relacionados con la educación para la ciudadanía. Hemos detectado la existencia de importantes restricciones en un proceso, como son los estudios de doctorado y el desarrollo de una tesis doctoral, diseñados para el fomento y desarrollo de nuevos conocimientos.
