Abstract

Architects and decorators took part with liveliness in desing and management of numerous furnitures and interior decorating ade in the 18th century for palaces and borbonic royal residences. To this efect, contributios of architects Ventura Rodríguez, Francisco Sabatini of Juan de Villanueva had peculiarity and their activity about interior decorating and suites of furniture would be on higher plane than activities of decorators like Matías Gasparini, Juan Bautista Ferroni or Jean-Démosthène Dugourc. Documents survive in the Archivo General de Palacio (Royal Place, Madrid) are source of supply to know it and we offer unpublished facts and exhaustive revisions about previously published.
